ABOUT

Who am I ?

Hi, I’m Ben !

Adventurer

And not because I’ve always wanted to take part in Survivor! While in everyday life I like to have my own little landmarks and habits, when holidays come around, things are different. Getting off the beaten track, opening up to different cultures, discovering unexpected landscapes without really knowing where you’re going, that’s what really motivates me.

Nature fan

As a city-dweller living in the countryside, and now well integrated into this new lifestyle, I’ve really developed a taste for nature and its wonders in all its simplicity. There’s nothing like sitting by a lake, gazing at the immensity of the landscape and savouring the moment, forgetting everything else.

Hiker

Accustomed to beautiful hikes, I’ve been travelling for several years on marked and unmarked trails in search of escape and freedom. Each excursion allows me to discover new regions while disconnecting from everyday life. There’s nothing more rejuvenating than these moments out of time, when you breathe in the fresh air and fully refocus. It’s worth all the aches and pains the next day!

Vegetable garden

Long live the short circuit! From seed to plate, there’s nothing like growing your own fruit and vegetables. Every year I enjoy sharing my surplus seedlings, encouraging local growing and helping people discover the real taste of good things. Homemade ratatouille is really something, isn’t it?

Natural-born organizer

I can’t deny it, although it’s important to leave room for the unknown, I quite like it when everything is well thought out and structured. I feel this as much in my day-to-day work (in the world of human resources) as in the way I organise my holidays and road trips. A little obsessive, perhaps, but always with passion 😉

Friends and sharing

Having a good time is nice enough, but sharing it makes it even more precious. Whether it’s over a meal, during an activity or just chatting, sharing these moments often creates lasting memories and turns them into real life experiences. Big up to my hiking companion!

A lover of simplicity

With time (not to say age), I’ve learnt to fully appreciate the little moments that life has to offer, especially the simplest ones. A home-cooked meal, a picnic organised in the park with friends, a spontaneous walk because the sky is clearing, building a new shelter for my ducks – every moment counts. Shared around a table or out in nature, it reminds us of the value of simple things and the joy of living in the moment.

Creator of Way to go

Way to go has always been in the back of my mind and all too often, during my road trips, I’ve thought that it’s a great way to get to your destination. Sharing this different way of travelling is close to my heart: you go at your own pace, enjoy enriching experiences and discover unexpected places. If I can help you experience your journeys in a different way and get pleasure from them, then I’ve made no mistake.
